ECONOMIC PERFORMANCE
The RPF-INKOTANYI Party believes that Rwandans are the basis for economic development.
Agriculture & Animal Husbandry

There will be established an agricultural development bank, whose mandate will be to provide loans for the sector.

To further strengthen the agricultural sector, based on soil conservation, introduction of hybrid seeds and appropriate fertilizers as well as introduction of machines for mechanization of agriculture.

To increase the number of agronomists and veterinarians to bring agricultural extension services closer to the farmers, emphasizing good service.

To further strengthen the project that promotes the culture of sharing animal resources (cows), popularly known as GIRINKA, aimed at distributing animal resources to all households so as raise their standards of living.
Infrastructure

To promote trade with other countries, a new railway line will be constructed from Isaka in Tanzania to Kigali.

A new international airport will be constructed in Bugesera, as well as to renovate other airports and airstrips in Kanombe, Rubavu and Kamembe.

There will be full transport services on Lake Kivu, with modern landing sites in Rubavu, Karongi and Rusizi.

There will be communication networks everywhere around the country, with mobile phones, television and radio signals as well as internet connectivity, countrywide.

Use of firewood and charcoal will be reduced drastically with the introduction of new energy sources, like liquidities petroleum gas( LPGs), peat, biogas and other means:

The Nyabarongo, Rusizi III, and other small hydropower dams, stations that produce methane stations, investments into energy, solar energy initiatives, wind power energy stations, biogas and other energy initiatives.

All urban centres countrywide will have development plans with planned housing that is to the standards of the times.
Development of the Workforce.
To raise the standards of living of all workers in tandem with national development goals

Workers will be mobilized to jointly organize themselves into cooperative societies, including entrepreneurs’ associations.

There will be a recurrent Cooperative Audit System, with ongoing training to prepare workers with different skills to integrate onto the job market;

To encourage the process of arbitration of commercial disputes;

Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) will be empowered and skills and management support offered to help them to develop them.

Self-employed persons will be mobilized to jointly form bigger entities so they can benefit from tools like machines and other forms of technologies offered to them by the state.

Tourism will be highly promoted base on values and our cultural legacies and those of WTO
Land and our Environment

There are plans to implement the strategic plan for the development and equitable use of land.
